Specific Accommodations

Lists of tasks and time to go over and understand tasks. I can only use my left hand, so having a left handed mouse with short cuts built in is useful.

Explanation of Disability

I was born with a congenital heart defect. I had a series of open heart surgeries from birth to age 10. At age 10- I had a stroke while waiting for a heart transplant. The acquired brain injury I had from the stroke gave me Broca Aphasia and Right Side- Hemiparesis. 22 days after my stroke I had my heart transplant.

Hobbies

Member of the West Michigan Film and Video Alliance, since 2009.

Participant in “Battlefield Brawl” a yearly event, raises money and awareness for Oldham Kids Project.

Participant in Lansing Strong a sports event with the Michigan Disability Sports Alliance.

Member of the MSU Adaptive Sports and Recreation Club.

Enjoy going to the gym, playing golf, tag football, swimming.
