Position Description:


The HRIS Business Systems Analyst will report to the Manager, HRIS and acts as the functional lead for Human Resources to provide application support, data and report management, and day-to-day operational support and training for PeopleSoft and other HRIS systems. This position is operational and does not include back end platform development support for PeopleSoft.

Job Responsibilities



  • Serve as subject matter expert for PeopleSoft Human Resources, as well as provide functional and technical support for Human Resources, payroll and payroll processes.

  • Identify and support resolution of production issues.

  • Coordinate access with the Corporate organization responsible for system security, assuring appropriate levels of access for Division wide HR and Payroll personnel.

  • Design, develop and support the reporting requests from HR and other departments.

  • Coordinate division participation on Corporate-wide teams in the testing of upgrades and new implementations. Prepare test scripts, coordinate testing and assist in the diagnosis and resolution of identified issues.

  • Responsible for data integrity and responses to audits.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies on projects involving HR/payroll data.

  • Develop tutorials and train Human Resources, Payroll and other department staff on respective processes and functions.

  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to provide data as required on a consistent and protected basis.

  • Develop audit processes to identify data issues and errors. Once identified, train employees on correct processes and input procedures.

  • Support other HRIS applications and system providers as needed ( i.e. Applicant Tracking, Performance Management, Learning Management, background check, I-9 processing)

  • Provide guidance to the administrative support personnel responsible for day to day input into various systems.




Position Requirements:


Experience Required



  • Bachelor's degree in HRIS, HRM, Information Technology or a closely related field required.

  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of functional experience in HRMS, preferably Oracle/PeopleSoft

  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a position that requires HRMS data administration, testing, upgrades and system implementation.

  • Query and report writing proficiency required, preferably PS Query.

  • Proficiency in all MS applications, including Excel and Access preferred.

  • Superior knowledge of Human Resources, payroll Processes and best practices.
