Manufacturing Technician•Requisition Number:5118•Position Type:Full-Time Regular•Relocation Provided:No•Department:CCA Assembly - L251T (Direct)•Location:Tallahassee (LTLLH)•Education Required:High School Diploma•Experience Required:3 - 5 YearsPosition Description:Position is Sign-on Bonus Eligible ($2,000.00)Will be assembling, reworking, and/or repairing circuit card assemblies in a fast-paced environmentWill be using IPC 7711/7721 techniques to ad jumper/extra wires to existing circuit card assembliesWill be using specialized equipment and enhanced soldering techniques to rework/repair circuit card assemblies to SMT level.Will be visually inspecting boards for various types of defective work from SMT or hand assemblyWill be running AOI (automated optical inspection) equipmentWill be performing XRAY operations to assist in compliance to drawing.Perform all needed assembly tasksAbility to setup and run equipment in assigned manufacturing area'sMust be able to read and interpret the manufacturing process instructions, visual aids/drawings, and Engineering documentation to include technical drawing requirements, BOMS, and SchematicsObserve & replicate manufacturing techniques and processes in order to train other employee's & general mentoring to operators as required.Works with Manufacturing Engineering on new process builds and Support continuous improvement for build equipment and processes.Assist in assigning re-work to operators, & ensure they have everything they need to complete process such as; re-work route, document(s), and replacement parts.Perform audits (EHS, ESD, Quality, Materials Shelf Life, Calibrated Assets, etc.) as needed.Solder Certification to J-Std-001.Ensure Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance in area's assigned.Expedite and move priority products in a timely fashion.Maintain shop floor inventory to status serial number physical and supply for manufacturing (SFM) locations.
