Along with a dynamic and effective service we strive for positive outcomes for everyone, every time.A multinational corporation that focuses on the robotics, power, heavy electrical equipment, and automation technology areas.Position: Assembler I (Type: Contract to direct hireLocation: Auburn Hills, MIWork Schedule: 7am-3:30pm (M-F) or 6am-4:40pm (M-TH) with occasional OT on weekends.Client OverviewOur client is a leading a multinational corporation headquartered in Switzerland, with a focus mainly in robotics, power, heavy electrical equipment, and automation technology areas.Position SummaryUnder the direction of production supervision, the Production Assembler I builds the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, meeting company production standards, and customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.Responsibilities:• Assemble products, following Engineering documents, ensuring the highest quality products, meeting company product standards, production goals, and customer specifications and delivery requirements.• Operate computer to check schedules, update manufacturing status of jobs.• Perform operator based Go-No Go testing per procedures.• Continually monitor quality of parts used in the assembly process.• Assist in the training of other employees, addressing and resolving inquiries and problems.• Perform material handling activities as required.• Review assembly processes and methods and recommend changes to ensure the continuous, ongoing improvement of productivity and quality.• Interface with engineering to accurately communicate information.• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, reject tickets, etc.• Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions.• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.Qualifications• *Reliable* work history and behavior.• High School Diploma or GED is required.• 2-3 years of general assembly experience is required• Experience with hand/power tools is required• Basic math and computer skills is required• Ability to commit to a flexible work schedule and prompt arrival for shift start up is required.Lutech Resources is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
