About the OpportunityDMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Technical Product Owner to support our client. The Technical Product Owner will define features and enablers in a scalable and flexible way that support current and future connected services. The Technical Product Owner responsibilities include butnot limited to:Duties and Responsibilities:⢠Drive execution for specific feature functionality from product definition and planning through production, release, and end-of-life⢠Support feature design and development and articulate the vision and mission of the product roadmap, including implementation and prioritization⢠Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop user stories and requirements while evaluating their potential and practicality by analyzing component consumer needs⢠Generate and manage the list of work to be completed by the development team. This involves writing product backlog items along with acceptance criteria, and ordering them to achieve the producvision⢠Serve as the central resource with design, process, test, and quality as the feature moves to production⢠Act as user champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholders and align all development activities with business goals and priorities⢠Manage the product backlog (prioritization and refinement), working with the development teams to clarify requirements balancing business needs with technical requirements⢠Support evaluation of off-the-shelf products to ensure they meet the business needs⢠Determine the appropriate product Release Date and Content⢠Create and maintain communications regarding vision and progress like a product roadmap and release plan⢠Create contractual project related documentation like a requirements specification or statement of work⢠Provide regular reporting including scope, schedule, and planning⢠Take lead on issue resolution for systems in operation⢠Maintain a basic knowledge of software development and the industry for the particular componentQualifications⢠Bachelor of Science in Electrical, computer, information technology or equivalent.⢠Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Technical Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment for a product successfully delivered to market.⢠Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner in a cross-functional team, dedicated to the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched enterprise solutions globally deployed.⢠Experience capturing and managing software requirements as User Stories.⢠Experience facilitating backlog refinement.⢠Experience testing or verifying software meets the acceptance criteria.⢠Demonstrable knowledge of software development lifecycles and activities.⢠The desire to be part of, and contribute to, a team.⢠Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.⢠Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team with designers, coders, integrators and business teams.⢠Strong relationship building skills including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of an organization.⢠Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills.⢠Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees.⢠Ambition and the ability to be self- directed.Preferred Requirements:⢠Master of Science in Electrical, computer, information technology or equivalent.⢠A software development background providing experience in enterprise systems design, development, and operation.⢠Scrum Product Owner Certification and/or Scrum Master Certification.⢠Experience developing a product roadmap.⢠Experience modeling business or software processes using BPMN constructs.⢠Experience with the Atlassian Jira Agile (www.atlassian.com/software/jira/agile) (http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/agile)).⢠Experience creating architectural artifacts such as sequence diagrams.⢠Experience creating release notes, user documentation, and/or training materials.⢠Experience writing a requirements specification or statement of work.Location: Auburn Hills, MIWorking at DMIDMI is a diverse, prosperous and rewarding place to work.
