This is a Logistics buying position based at the Mopar Complex in Centerline that interfaces on a daily basis with the Mopar Transportation Operational Group. The main function is procuring logistical services for service parts deliveries from seventeen Mopar Field Parts Distribution Centers to approximately 3,000 plus dealer network in North America. The buyer is responsible for managing all commercial terms and developing sourcing strategies. The Logistics Buyer will also manage all aspects of the supplier relationship including contract maintenance, benchmarking, and achievement of annual cost savings targets and development of supplier/commodity strategies.

 Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics or related field
•3 years relevant work experience
•Proficient in Microsoft Office application suite
•Excellent analytical skills
•Strong written and communication skill sets

Preferred Qualifications:
•Previous buying experience a plus
•Strong leadership skills
•Excellent organization skills
